To celebrate World Tree Day, last 21st March, Ascendi called for the reduction of paper consumption, and consequently preservation of trees on the planet, offering all its customers, in a reusable envelope, Holly seeds.

With the slogan “Small attitudes can generate great results”, Ascendi made its customers aware that they can dispense the issue of the toll receipt, thus contributing to the reduction of paper consumption. This awareness action took place at 21 toll plazas in Norte Concession (A7 and A11) and the three toll plazas on the Grande Lisboa Concession (A16).

Ascendi employees will also receive this reusable envelope with holly seeds, calling for a more efficient rationalization of paper consumption in their workplace.
This initiative reflects Ascendi’s desire to cultivate an ethical and responsible relationship with the environment, promoting an appreciation of cultural biodiversity and more sustainable social practices.
