Challenge: International Biodiversity Day

On May 22, 2021, to celebrate International Biodiversity Day, Ascendi launches a challenge to children who attend schools in the vicinity of its motorway network, drawing their attention to the importance of preserving biodiversity.

On May 22, 2021, to celebrate International Biodiversity Day, Ascendi launches a challenge to children who attend schools in the vicinity of its motorway network, drawing their attention to the importance of preserving biodiversity.

 

With the slogan “Why should I care for and protect Biodiversity”, the contest first edition will be directed to the municipalities surrounding Pinhal Interior Subconcession (A13 and A13-1) – Alvaiázere; Ansião; Coimbra; Condeixa-a-Nova; Ferreira do Zêzere; Figueiró dos Vinhos; Miranda do Corvo; Penela; Tomar and Vila Nova da Barquinha.

 

Participants will be invited to present a work on the subject of Biodiversity and why it should be protected. The delivery period for submitting papers begins in May 22, International Biodiversity Day, and ends on June 4, 2021 and the works can be sent by e-mail to ascendibiodiversidade@ascendi.pt, or delivered on the Operational Maintenance Center of the Pinhal Interior Subconcession, located in Ansião, until 6 pm, on June 4.

 

The awarded will receive a visit to Lisbon Oceanarium for two adults and two children, including transport to Lisbon and return.
